Kauai Hotels
Kauai is part of Hawaii and located just a 20-minute plane ride away from Honolulu. It is made up of five regions, which include the North Shore, the South Shore, the West Side, Coconut Coast, and Lihue Kalapaki. As the oldest of the northern islands of Hawaii, Kauai certainly has a rich history and culture with a wide variety of activities for visitors to pursue on their trip. There are many golf courses, fishing excursions, and horseback riding for those who love the outdoors. Additionally, there are many water-based activities to check out too, including snorkeling, scuba diving, surfing, and windsurfing. The nature part of Kauai is something to certainly look into, as well. Outdoor enthusiasts can hike up through the trails of beautiful mountains, visit waterfalls at Wailua Falls, or check out the active Kilauea Volcano. Or visit the white, sandy beaches - one of Kauai and Hawaii's claims to fame — that surround the island.
